Easty 4.5 is a handy and versatile kayak with storage capacity for touring, developed to satisfy the needs of the ambitious beginner or the intermediate paddler. Designed to minimize resistance, it offers an impressive touring speed with a minimum of effort, a fine-tuned balance between trackability and maneuverability for ease of handling in all conditions, and a stability curve that lets beginner trust the kayak but leave the competent paddler in command. The cockpit configuration blends comfort and control, making all kinds of rolls and braces easy to learn and to master - and if you are not into rolling, the high initial stability makes it easy to remount the kayak from the water in any of the usual ways.
Being highly maneuverable, Easty 4.5 is designed primarily to be used with an adjustable skeg, but with a rudder option for those who prefer that.
Kayaks are not just performance - it is as much about looks. In Easty 4.5 a lot of time is spent on creating harmonious relationships between lines and surfaces, so that the visual qualities comes from the designed function, not superficial styling - a kayak to be proud of to own and use.

Why choose Liker be your Supplier?
At LIKER Kayak our mission is to deliver innovative designs, manufacture quality kayaks and deliver first class customer service. We have been working to deliver this consistently since 2002
We didn't invent the original kayak but we'd like to think that over the years we have perfected it.
Our manufacturing process has a series of check lists that ensure our kayaks meet our quality standards. We water test every kayak before it is wrapped up and shipped out. This process allows us to double check the kayak for any manufacturing inconsistencies.
How is Liker kayak &canoe Manufacturing?
We strive to find a balance of a lightweight yet durable kayak. LIKER Kayak are rotationally molded. We pour the finest linear, low-density polyethylene powder into the kayak mold. That mold goes into a LARGE oven and rotationally spins around until the powder has melted and formed into the kayak. The kayak(very hot and somewhat malleable) is then cooled and removed from the mold. It is allowed to cool for a few minutes and then we outfit the boat to perfection.
Appearance counts, too. Our mold-in graphics are baked right into the boat. This prevents graphic peeling and keeps the boat looking great years after purchase. Our materials have ultra-violet inhibitors blended in which help prevent the plastic from breaking down in the sun. However, remember, plastic does breakdown when exposed to the sun over long periods of time. We recommend storing your liker kayak under a tarp or in a covered storage area. This will keep the color from fading and the plastic from breaking down in the sun.
After we manufacture and outfit the boat, we wrap it up and ship it to our authorized liker Kayak dealers.

Will salt water damage LIKER boat?
No, salt water will not damage your canoe or kayak or any of its components with brief exposure. However, if you are using your boat frequently in salt water, it should be rinsed down after every use to avoid discoloration or corrosion of components.
Does kayak length affect stability?
No, the width of the kayak is more directly related to stability than its length. In general, a wider craft is a bit slower but more stable, and the better choice for fisherman and photographers. For those looking to go long distances with efficiency and speed, a longer kayak is preferred.
